Intriguing and captivating, stories from within the racing and breeding world, are brought to life with this documentary style program. Have a friend or family member that is new to the sport? HRTV’s Pursuit of the Cup commences each September and airs weekly chronicling the performances of the year’s top horses as they point toward the Breeders’ Cup World Championships.
Pursuit of the Cup provides weeks of valuable insight that you’ll need to make your predictions for racing’s championship day. Content includes weekly update standings for each Breeders’ Cup division, recaps of previously Graded Stakes races, and interviews with leading jockeys, trainers and owners. Additional programs scheduled for Breeders’ Cup week including on-site interviews from the Breeders’ Cup host track.

Pursuit of the Crown

Pursuit of the Crown - A 360 degree analysis of all the top Triple Crown prospects for 2009, as they seek to win The Kentucky Derby, The Preakness(R) Stakes and The Belmont Stakes. We start with a focus on top Kentucky Derby contenders for 10 weeks leading up to the first Saturday in May. Content includes 3 year old prep race recaps and upcoming race previews, as well as weekly insight from our HRTV analysts. Following the Derby, the show focuses on The Preakness(R) and then concludes with The Belmont Stakes.
