HRTV's "Pursuit of the Crown" Debuts
With the fabled Kentucky Derby drawing closer, HorseRacing TV (TM) (HRTV) will present racing fans with the latest, up-to-date information on the busy Derby trail when it premieres the weekly "Pursuit of the Crown" show, formerly called "Target Louisville," this Thursday, February 19 (8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT).
In addition, the informative show will expand its scope this racing season, and continue throughout the five-week Triple Crown span, to include the current developments for the following two legs, the Preakness (R) (May 16) from Pimlico Racecourse and the Belmont Stakes from Belmont Park (June 6).
The 135th edition of the "Run for the Roses" at famed Churchill Downs is set for Saturday, May 2, and HRTV's tandem of Laffit Pincay III and Jeff Siegel will co-host "Pursuit of the Crown," delivering the latest in weekly Derby happenings. It will again feature weekly insights from Hall of Fame jockey, and HRTV analyst Gary Stevens, a three-time Kentucky Derby winner. Scott Hazelton and Millie Ball will also contribute to the show.
The 30-minute show, which airs every Thursday, provides detailed interviews, analysis and profiles of the top contenders for the Derby from HRTV's experts, as well as the key weekly prep races leading into the sport's greatest race.
