With the excitement of the upcoming Breeders' Cup growing each day, HRTV (R) will continue its commitment to international racing when it broadcasts the prestigious Melbourne Cup from Australia on Monday, November 2.
HRTV's coverage will begin at 9:30 p.m. ET/6:30 p.m. PT.
The Melbourne Cup is Australia's major annual Thoroughbred race, and has been contested at Flemington Racecourse
since 1861. It carries a $5 million (US) purse, and is for 3-year-olds and up, and contested at two miles on the turf.
