Carolyn Conley officially joined HorseRacing TV in August of 2006. She and her son Aidan relocated back to the Southern California area from Fort Collins, Co where she was studying Equine Science and Theatre at Colorado State University. From 1996 to 2002 Ms. Conley served as a key member of Santa Anita Park's Eclipse Award-winning broadcast team, while spending a few summers in the East as the host of “Racing from Monmouth Park” on Fox Sports New York.
Carolyn began her racing career as a groom at Playfair Racetrack in Spokane, Washington and later moved to Southern California to exercise horses for a number of training greats, including Charlie Whittingham, Bobby Frankel, D. Wayne Lukas, and Richard Mandella.
Conley currently hosts “Race Day America” on HRTV, and often serves as a reporter both at Santa Anita Park and on location. She wrote and produced “The Lost Years”, a documentary for HRTV chronicling the use of Santa Anita Park during World War II, and lends her voice to many of the features airing on the HRTV’s magazine show, “Inside Information”.
